The Bayliss Seminar Series

The Bayliss Seminar Series, The University of Western Australia

The Bayliss Seminar Series is for postgraduates, postdoctoral students, laboratory heads and invited guests of the Bayliss Building to present their research on biological and chemical sciences.

Attendance is free and open to researchers from across UWA and other universities. Members of the public are also welcome.

The seminars are usually held on Thursdays and Fridays, typically starting at noon sharp and running until 1pm.

The Friday slot will be the preferred time for external speakers.

Upcoming seminars are listed on this page. Details of past seminars are available in the UWA Events system.

Seminars will be normally held at 12 noon each Thursday and Friday throughout the year in G33, on the ground floor of the Bayliss Building. However, given the schedules of visitors to the University, please note that seminars outside of these days and times will occur throughout the year. We have limited choice on alternative venues when G33 is unavailable, so please do check the advertised venue before setting off. Special forums will also be announced in weekly seminar notices and directly to those on the Bayliss Seminar Series mailing list.

If you would like to receive email notification of the regular meeting or special seminars upcoming, subscribe to the Bayliss Seminar Series Mailing List.

If you have any other queries, email the series convenors: Professor Paul Low or Dr Heng Chooi
